Full moon in September 2028
Sunday 3 September 2028, 23:47 UTC
The Moon is in the zodiac sign of Pisces (11°), the Sun opposite in Virgo.
A micromoon: 406,158 km away, unusually far, a little smaller than usual.
What the tradition sees in it
At full moon the Sun and the Moon stand exactly opposite each other; astrology reads the tension between the two signs. Order and surrender: the plan against letting go into something larger.
The name
In the North American tradition, now used everywhere, it is the Corn Moon.
